2003 impala climate control problem

I am an old guy new to this formum, but I should of found this place years ago. I bought my Impala in 2003, brand new, and have owned a lot ov chevys in my life.
I am having a sticky problem with my Climate Control switch on the dash, seemingly not operating correctly. When I move the dial to the various choices of where it is going to send its air to, it seems to be not doiong anything. Just got back from the parts store with a new aircleaner for under the passenger side front window, but have not even noticed a greater amount of airflow with that installed????
I have found three or four fuses on the passenger side fuse box, that show no current on either side of the fuse (tried with key in all positions). That makes me think that there must be a relay out someplace, but even the guy at Autozone could not find a relay for the climate control, but he did not seem to have a wiring diagram and neither do I.
I really don't want to tear anymore parts apart under the dash, and whatever is moved by that control is not in view for me to inspect.
I am hoping that if someone can help me, it might be a simple matter of a fuse or relay.

Does the blower work? If so it may just be the blend door.

More on my heater control problem

Everything else on the heater/airconditioning works just fine. The blower works well as I checked it out, running, when I changed the air filter.
I think you mentioned a Blend Door, and I think the control of that door is not working, and it surely is operated by some kind of motor or solenoid that has the 5 or so positions you can set the control on the dash, to get the air to be directed where you want it.
Like I stated, I have found several fuses on the passenger side fuse box, that are not getting any juice, no matter what position I set the iginition switch at, including with the motor running.
This air control is surely is operated electricaly, and I would think a relay is involved, but tracking that down has been impossible so far.

The switch that sends air to the different places.

Interesting and unthought of aspect of my problem. Are you talking about the control that I I describe in the Title of this reply, or are you reffering to the dual control that controls the temperature of each side of the chevy.?

Also where would I look for this vacum hose?

Yeah the blend doors which control where the air is directed are controlled by vacuum actuators,in front of your left front tire there a splash shield held in Place by 4 7mm screws behind that shield is vacuum reservoir ball the line that is attached to it runs up to the engine compartment if there is a break or clog in that line you won't have control over where the air in your climate control system goes, it will blow out it's defaul setting which is defrost and floor.Hope this helps.
